On October 13th the Town’s Planning & Zoning Commission (PZC) issued preliminary subdivision approval for the Amedore subdivision application. The preliminary approval included seven conditions, including the condition that the Town’s designated engineer (MJ Engineering) for this application consider the letter that was submitted by Alpha Geoscience, on behalf of McNamee, Lochner, Titus & Williams, P.C., calling for a hydrogeologic study of the project site. The applicant’s engineer and attorney has evaluated Alpha’s
letter/request and responded in writing. MJ Engineering, in turn, reviewed and responded in writing to both Alpha Geoscience’s comments and the Amedore team's response.
The next procedural step for Amedore is for the Town’s Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA), to consider area variance requests for several new building lots that don’t meet the Town’s minimum lot width and/or lot depth requirements. The ZBA will review the variance requests and hold a public hearing on Monday, November 24th at 7:00 p.m.
Following the ZBA’s decision on the area variance requests, the PZC will conduct its final subdivision review. The earliest this could happen is December 8th. Another public hearing will be held as part of the final subdivision review.
